Course Objective

To train in setup, tuning and alignment as well as troubleshooting and maintenance of proportional and servo valve systems.

Course Outline

Basic electricity
Amplifier theory and control concepts
Fundamental principles of open and closed loop electro-hydraulic systems
PID theory
Proportional amplifiers, systems and troubleshooting
Servo valves, amplifiers, and troubleshooting

Who Should Attend?

This intensive one-week course is for technicians and maintenance personnel involved in the setup, tuning and troubleshooting of electro-hydraulic proportional and servo systems. A thorough understanding of hydraulic principles and components is not a prerequisite for this course.
